We gladly accept pets in our trains, but for your pet's safety there are some rules to be followed.

Coming onboard with pet, please let train attendant know that there is pet on board, and buy a ticket for your pet. The pet ticket is about one fifth from regular passenger ticket. Guide dogs with blind person and properly harnessed, can go free.

By Estonian legislation carnivore pets (dogs, cats or ferrets) older than 3 months must be vaccinated against rabies. Travelling with such pet, you must carry a vaccination certificate with you. The vaccination is valid up to two years; yearly re-vaccination is obligate. To get the certificate please contact your veterinarian.

Pets must be put into special travel cages or bags or boxes. Big dogs must be kept on leash. Don't take your pet on your lap - it can be frightened and escape from you, hurting itself or other passengers.

Don't let other passengers pet your animal - it can act unexpectedly badly because of high stress. Don't leave your pet unattended on any case!

Dont' put your pet on seat.

Be ready to change your seat on train attendant's request. This is for wellbeing of other persons or you and your pet.

Be ready to clean your pet's mishaps, if occurred. Keep some paper towels and plastic bags handy for this purpose.

Pets, while travelling, suffer from stress and thus have risen water consumption. Take care that your pet can drink as much as it needs.
