About the company

Edelaraudtee AS is a railway infrastructure company of the Edelaraudtee Group. It manages 223.8 km of railway lines (138.9 km on the Tallinn–Lelle–Pärnu line, 79.6 km on the Lelle–Türi–Viljandi line, and 5.3 km on the Liiva–Ülemiste line) and 11 railway stations (Tallinn-Väike, Liiva, Kiisa, Kohila, Rapla, Lelle, Tootsi, Pärnu, Türi, Võhma and Viljandi), plus 20 passenger platforms outside stations. Liiva, Kohila, Rapla, Tootsi, Pärnu, Türi, Võhma and Viljandi stations are freight stations.

Edelaraudtee AS provides railway infrastructure services and traffic management to rail transport operators and rolling stock owners. The company has almost 100 employees.

Any necessary construction work, track maintenance, building and territory maintenance and accounting services are outsourced. The company itself oversees all outsourced services.

In addition to managing public railway infrastructure and providing its use, clients are offered the following services:

• technical supervision of the railway and the related built structures;
• owner supervision.

To make our operating activities more purposeful, we have taken on some supporting activities:

• railway design work;
• construction;
• construction management and owner supervision; and
• electrical work

Management

The Management Board organises the operations of the whole company and coordinates the cooperation between its structural units. According to the Articles of Association, each board member has full representation powers.

The structure of Edelaraudtee AS was formed with an aim to ensure purposeful organisation of its operating activities all over the railway network in order to ensure effective synergy of various activities irrespective of the geographical location of the place of activity.
